Points Schedule and Prizes
Points will be awarded 10-deep in the Men Pro/1/2, Women 1/2/3 and Masters 35+ 1/2/3 fields as follows: 25, 18, 14, 11, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1. Riders with equal totals will be listed as 'tied' until the end of the series; the first tie-breaker will the highest finish in any single race and the second will be the number of Premier Series races entered.
Prizes from Maxxis, CLIF Bar, and other sponsors will be distributed throughout all fields at the discretion of each individual race promoter, although the NCNCA Board and Premier Series organizers have decided not to have a points series for other categories so as not to discourage upgrading or encourage sandbagging.
Series winners will receive $500 cash, a big trophy presented at the Carrera de San Rafael in September 9, and a one-third page ad in ROAD magazine to use however they'd like!
We'll try to keep up with riders' current team affiliation, but you may email corrections to marketing@ncnca.org
